Shilpy Singh
Shilpy Singh is interested in Environment & Land Use planning and design.
After graduating from University of Florida and working for some time, she
joined University of Michigan. She is currently pursuing her Masters in
Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture. In the past she has spent some
time in Tehri Garhwal in the foothills of Central Himalayas, India while
studying various land use patterns and practices in mountain agriculture.
She has also co-authored a book on 'Biodiversity, Gender and Technology in
Mountain Agriculture", along with several other publications in the past.
She is interested in studying how various land uses along with built
environment can promote healthier sustainable communities and environment.
