Heather Boyer
Heather Boyer is senior editor with Island Press in Brooklyn New York. She acquires and edits books in the areas of land use planning, green architecture, landscape architecture and environmental health. She was a 2004-2005 Loeb Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design where she studied urban policy, affordable housing, real estate development, and the economics of green building. She is co-author of the forthcoming book Resilient Cities: Responding to Peak Oil and Climate Change (November 2008) with Peter Newman and Timothy Beatley.
